Matt Parsons is dedicated to helping clients target their financial goals through appropriate investments and thoughtful guidance. He founded Parsons Financial Advisors in 2005 after building a successful business with Edward Jones Investments from the ground up—by knocking on doors and getting involved in the community. He believes in doing business face-to-face—in the office or at your home.
In 2025, Parsons Financial Advisors joined &Partners, a forward-thinking firm that supports independent advisors in helping provide greater client experiences with more autonomy and resources.
Matt has served on many boards including the Cottage Grove Hospital Foundation, Cottage Grove Community Development Corporation, Cottage Grove Planning Commission, the City of Cottage Grove Budget Committee, the South Lane Wheels board, Lane Workforce Partnership board, and the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce board.
In Matt’s spare time he enjoys watching football, smoking meat and puttering around on his tractor.
Matt is married to Teresa, and they have six kids: Morgan, Brandon, Jessica, James, Kayla, and Krystal and some adorable grandkids.
