Amanda Akers holds a BS in public relations/journalism from the University of Oregon.
Amanda grew up in the desert of Southern California. She moved to Oregon in middle school and is proud to now call herself an Oregonian. She and her husband, Daniel, met at the University of Oregon and are avid Duck fans. They live with their menagerie, which includes some cats, dogs, parrots and fish. Both Amanda and Daniel have a passion for animals, Volvos and planning trips to faraway places.
